GALA's most popular central area has five diverse courses, including a gentle run for beginners, a wide medium-slope course, and GALA's highest, steepest course.
Melody Beginners Course

The slope and length are perfect for beginners, allowing you to concentrate on your practice. If you get off Chairlift and go straight, you will join the so-called "Uramero" at the bottom of Edelweiss. A forest course recommended for those who want to ski leisurely. A popular course for families. A detour to the central area. This steep course continues from the summit, the highest point in GALA, where you can enjoy high-quality snow. You can enjoy the thrill of skiing down the mountain in one go, and in spring it is a famous mogul spot. The starting point has a wonderful view and is a popular photo spot.North Area
The northern area offers a wide range of riding styles, including six courses that can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced riders, as well as Snow Park and uneven mogul slopes. This beautifully groomed single run is perfect for practicing high-speed turns. Broadway is a relatively empty course compared to the central area, so if you want to ski at your own pace and comfortably, we recommend it.Super Broadway Intermediate Course [450m]

Joanna Intermediate Course

To the right of Chairlift" Chariot" is the course for Ski School lessons. To the left is a short course, but it is a perfect slope for basic training. If you go to the other side of Chairlift summit, you will reach the starting point of Down Hill Trail.Roman Holiday Beginner Course [500m]

Down Hill Trail Falcon
2.5km Downhill Course A challenging 2.5km downhill course that descends from the north area to Ski Center " Cowabunga". The highlight of this course is the location where you can see the snowy mountains of Minamiuonuma from the Tanigawa mountain range. Please enjoy an exhilarating long cruise while taking in the magnificent view.South Area
The southern area is attractive for its four exciting courses, including the off-piste courses "2.6 Million Dollars" and "Bronco," and the "Eliza" course, where you can make pleasant carving turns. Bronco Advanced Course [700m]
This is an ungroomed course that can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to experts. It joins the groomed course "Eliza" midway and is separated into an upper and lower section. You can enjoy powder when it snows and natural moguls on sunny days.Eliza Intermediate Course [1,000m]
A beautifully groomed, high-speed S-shaped run. This is a course that you can enjoy free running on. It is a relatively empty course, so you can make carving turns comfortably.Batman Intermediate (Connecting) Course [530m]

Sledding and snow play area
The "Snow Enjoyment Park" at the very bottom of the central area is a park dedicated to snow play, separated into a sledding course and an area where you can play freely in the snow. The sledding course is equipped with a hooded snow escalator, so you can enjoy sledding comfortably even on snowy days. The area is surrounded by netting, so even small children can play safely.

Observation deck
GALA YUZAWA SNOW RESORT has observation decks in the central and northern areas.
The "Love Bell Observation Deck" at the top of the Central Area Barouche Chairlift can be used as a sightseeing Chairlift even by those who are not skiing or Snowboard.
Please enjoy the magnificent snow scenery.
Bell of Love Observatory
*To go to the Bell of Love Observatory, please take the central area Barouche Chairlift.
*If you have a Gondola pass, you will need a separate Barouche ticket.
* Barouche tickets can also be purchased at the information desk inside Gondola Lift summit rest house "Cheers."
Yume no Kane Observatory
*To get to the Yume no Kane Observatory, please take the North Area Chariot Chairlift.
*You cannot ride Chariot Chairlift unless you are wearing the sliding equipment.
