Trail
We are not open early in the morning or at night.
This is the average snowfall amount at four fixed measurement locations: Takatsukura summit, two locations in the central area, and the northern area.
The maximum slope is 33 degrees on Super Swan. Bronco in the south area is also over 30 degrees.
Downhill trail is the longest trail, with a distance of about 2.5 km. The view is excellent, so please enjoy it.
The "Melody" in the central area is recommended for first-time ski or snowboard. Once we also recommend the "Roman Holiday" in the northern area after learning.

There is no mogul trail. Please enjoy the natural bumps on the "Super Swan" in the north area.
The ungroomed trails in the southern area are the "$2,600,000" and the "Bronco" , the northern area is the "Super Swan" .
Depending on the snow conditions, especially after opening date or near the end of the season, there is likely to be insufficient snow. In such cases, skiing will not be possible. *Please check the trail conditions for further information.
The downhill trail is a long trail with a total length of about 2.5 km. There are narrow sections, curves and steep part on the way for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. Please do not go there if you are first-time and/or beginner.
Please board the Ishiuchi Maruyama summit chairlift by 3:15pm and return to GALA. Chairlift for the Victoria, which provides Access to Falcon entrance on the descent course and to the central area (Gondola Lift summit rest house Cheers), is at 4pm.
Chairlift and Gondola Lift
Approximately 8 minutes (when operating at 4 m/s). The ride time will be longer if slows down due to strong winds. In addition, the gondola will also slow down when transport injured passengers, so the ride time will be slightly longer.
You can board Barouche Chairlift in the central area on foot for sightseeing. All other Chairlift require you to be wearing ski or snowboard equipment, but if you have any concerns about getting on or off chairlift, please speak to a member of staff.
For safety reasons, small children and beginners who are unable to ride on and ride off by themselves may only ride if accompanied by someone who can assist them.
For chairlift other than the "Barouche", please use baby sling and/or carrying equipment when riding with infants who are not wearing skiing gear. When infant on your back or in your arms, Chairlift is only wide enough for one person, so please be careful if the infant sways back and forth, as this can be dangerous.
ｊ６During peak times, you may have to wait for about 10 minutes. The southern area is relatively quiet even on weekends and holidays, so please feel free to go there.
The sensor may not work if it is placed together with a mobile phone, coins, other IC cards, wallet, gum or chocolate wrapping paper, aluminum foil, metal objects (keys), etc. Please move these items to another container or pocket and try again.
Price
Chairlift Price for preschool children are free for up to two children per adult (three or more children will be charged the elementary school student Price).
You can apply at the ticket counter on the second floor of the ski center "Cowabunga" on your first day at GALA. You do not need to bring a photo with you as it will be taken on-site. Please remove your cap, Snow Googgles etc. when taking your photo. *Please note that even if you bring a photo, it cannot be used for season passes. If you are an "Adult Holiday Club" member, you can purchase tickets at a special price by paying with your card.
If you want to play in the snow, you will need a Gondola Lift ticket.
Those who have purchased Chairlift ticket do not need a lift ticket. Chairlift ticket can be used to ride Gondola Lift and Chairlift within GALA Yuzawa.
Changes can be made at the Ski Center "Cowabunga" ticket counter only if you purchase tickets at regular price.
Chairlift tickets other than Barouche tickets are only sold at the ticket counter of the ski center "Cowabunga". Chairlift tickets other than Barouche tickets cannot be purchased at the top of Gondola Lift (rest house "Cheers").
You can ride Gondola Lift as many times as you like in one day. You cannot ride any other Chairlift except Gondola Lift.
You can use it in almost all facilities within the park. Facilities where it cannot be used are vending machines, locker ticket vending machines, and the foreign language Ski School. For details, please check below. In addition, you can charge your transportation IC card such as Suica at the green ticket vending machine at GALA YUZAWA STATION.

Snow Park
We plan to open a dojo park in early Feb at the bottom of Broadway in the north area and next to Restaurant "OLE". We plan to expand the park from Mar onwards, so please come and visit us.
This is Snow Park for beginners located in the north area. It is installed with many equipment, and can be enjoyed by both snowboarders and skiers.
There is no half-pipeand no plans to install it. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We have also set up park items for park beginners. *The items set up may change depending on the weather and snow conditions.
For skiers as well.
You can enjoy it until Golden Week.
Snow Park is free to use, but a chairlift ticket is required.
Please ride the "Barouche" in the central area and come to the north area. To use Dojo Park by hike up or chairlift "Tilbury".

The size of the lockers is height: 64 cm, width: 48 cm, depth: 54 cm. The large Suica lockers in front of the locker room on the 3rd floor of the ski center "Cowabunga" are 85 cm high, 50 cm wide, and 66 cm depth.
There are separate locker rooms for men and women on the 2nd floor of the ski center "Cowabunga," with changing rooms. There is also a family changing room, as well as separate changing rooms for men and women, in the unisex locker room on the 3rd floor.
Yes, we do. We are offering a table (Max 4 people) for 4,000 yen until the end of Mar. We also accept reservations for private rooms. For further details, please see the "Private Room/Table Reservations" section under "Facilities" on our website.
Kids
On the third floor of the ski center "Cowabunga," we have a free resting area which called "IRORI Lounge." There are also massage machines, so please feel free to use it after skiing or when you want to take a break.
We offer a variety of activities, including snow play, mobile Sled tours, and mystery solving.
We have skis starting from 70cm and Snowboard starting from 90cm, but for more information please see the various size chart on our website.

We have prepared a "Snow Enjoyment Park" where located outside of Gondola summit station, and within this park we have a special area for sledding.
There is a children's pool with a depth of 60cm, so children can enjoy themselves safely.
We are sorry, but we do not allow guests wearing diapers.
From Dec to Apr, every third Sunday of the month is "Children's Ski Day", when elementary school students can get free chairlift tickets.
Shuttle Bus・ Access
We have been instructing our drivers to be polite, but safety is our number one priority, and we expect there will be difficult situations, but we will provide further instruction. We will also adjust the clocks as necessary.
Parking is available for approximately 400 cars and free of charge.
They are next to each other on the Joetsu Shinkansen. The station closest to Tokyo is Echigo Yuzawa Station, and the next station is GALA YUZAWA STATION. GALA YUZAWA STATION is also directly connected to GALA YUZAWA SNOW RESORT.
GALA YUZAWA SNOW RESORT is located only 3km from the Yuzawa IC on the Kan'etsu Expressway, but snow tires and tire chains are required. Snow can suddenly fall even at the beginning of the season or in spring. "Better be safe than sorry," so please be fully prepared.
Take the Kan-etsu Expressway, get off at Yuzawa IC, turn right onto Route 17, and head towards Niigata and Nagaoka. After about 3km, you will see a large white sign with the GALA mark on your left. then turn left. After about 300m, you will arrive at GALA YUZAWA SNOW RESORT.
Our parking lots are open 24 hours a day, however if you arrive late at night, we may ask you to leave early in the morning when there is snow removal work.
There are 24-hour toilets available next to the main entrance Cowabunga.
Shuttle Bus that runs from the East Exit of Echigo Yuzawa Station to Yuzawa Town (hot spring town) and to GALA YUZAWA SNOW RESORT is free. Please feel free to use it.
After exiting the ticket gate, take the "East Exit" on the right, and the bus will stop in front of the toilets on your left. (A bus stop has been set up and staff on weekends.) There is also a bus stop in front of the Inamoto Hotel on the west side of Echigo Yuzawa Station.
IC Card
Only IC card chairlift tickets issued at GALA YUZAWA SNOW RESORT can be used. Three mountain passes issued at Ishiuchi Maruyama and Yuzawa Kogen can be used.
If you are only going to ride Gondola you will need Gondola ticket (IC card).
Up to two preschool children may enter free of charge per adult, but children who will be skiing (riding Chairlift) will need an IC card Chairlift ticket. Please ask a Gondola Lift gate attendant for a special IC card Chairlift ticket.
GALA YUZAWA SNOW RESORT does not require a deposit for IC card chairlift tickets. If you do not plan to purchase any more charges after the next time, please return the IC card to the collection box.
You can pass through while keeping the card in your left pocket. However, please note that if you carry multiple cards stacked together or stacking them with your cell phone or credit card, may not be able to read the information and this will cause problems.
Please stop by the ticket counter on the 2nd floor of the Ski Center "Cowabunga."

We cannot accept cancellations, changes or refunds after a purchase is completed. Please check the details before purchasing.
If you purchase at Cowabunga 2F ticket counter, you can use cash, credit card, transportation IC card, etc. If you purchase on the Webket, you can only pay by credit card. Please note that we do not accept bank transfers or convenience store payments.
If you purchase at the Cowabunga 2F ticket counter, you can use JCB, Diners, UC, DC, VIEW, VISA, MasterCard, SAISON, AEON, Rakuten, etc. If you purchase via the Webket, you can use VISA, MasterCard, and JCB.
If you are considering purchasing a ticket on Webket the next time you visit, you can get a discount by entering the number printed on your IC card chairlift ticket at the time of purchase, so please take it home and make use of it. However, please note that the printing on the IC card chairlift ticket will remain the same as when you first purchased it.
Yes, it is possible. A QR code will be sent to the representative who made the purchase. To exchange for an IC card chairlift ticket, please scan the QR code at ticketing machine. Please note that one IC card chairlift ticket is required for each person. (Unable to multiple charges) Please note that you will need cards numbers for all accompanying persons when recharge
You can reuse it your IC chairlift ticket for next season. When purchasing Webket products next season, you can recharge on it and go to the gate directly.
