ESG management with an eye on SDGs
GALA YUZAWA Co., Ltd. supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Gala Yuzawa Co., Ltd. will contribute to the sustainable development of the local community by working to resolve social issues through Snow Resort business and other initiatives in this blessed, rich natural environment. To that end, we aim to contribute to a richer, more sustainable society by actively working to achieve the 17 goals set out in the SDGs.
Environment
In order to raise the awareness of ESG among each employee at Gala Yuzawa Co., Ltd., we established a new cross-sectional organization, the ESG Promotion and Cost Management Committee, in October 2019 to more strongly promote ESG. As part of this, we are promoting activities centered on the 17 goals of the SDGs.
We are taking steps to prevent global warming so that many guests can enjoy the rich natural environment and charm of Japan's unique four seasons.
- The material has been changed from paper to a material that is kinder to forest and water resources, using no wood pulp at all and using inorganic materials such as limestone (calcium carbonate) as the main ingredient.
