For the past few years, we have been using up-and-coming illustrators for the poster visuals of GALA Yuzawa. This season, we asked az_wald​,​​ ​a current third-year high school student attending an art school.

 

When the visual team at GALA Yuzawa was looking for an illustrator to create this season's poster visuals, they noticed az_wald 's work, which they had seen on social media, and decided to commission him to create the work Trail​ ​His illustrations, which are detailed, such as the atmosphere of the slopes and the people drawn deep in the eyes, are being displayed as posters, mainly at train stations in the Tokyo metropolitan area.

 

The catchphrase "Dye yourself in white" was also handwritten by the artist himself. If you​ ​see it at any station in the Tokyo metropolitan area, please come and take a closer look as the poster size will make an impact.

 

In addition, this poster visual is also displayed as a "Photogenic Wall" at the entrance to Gondola Lift passage at GALA Yuzawa. This photogenic wall is a very popular photo spot! If you visit GALA this season, be sure to take a commemorative photo.
