Central Area
Superb Area
The central area centered around the gondola mountaintop station and「Cheers」rest house. There are many courses, so you can comfortably slide from beginner to advanced. 「Snow Enjoyment Park」where you can enjoy sledding with your family, 「The Bell of Love Observation Deck」 overlooking the mountains of Minami Uonuma, and「Grenoble」, a mountaintop course with a superb view, are located in this area.
Melody
Beginner Course [350m]
You can concentrate and practice with this slope and length that are perfect for beginners. When you get off the lift and go straight, it is another beginner course called「Ura Melody」at the bottom of Edelweiss, which is a gentle slope, so it is recommended for those who slide for the first time.
Edelweiss
Beginner Course [1,600m]
A forest view course recommended for those who want to slide leisurely. This is a popular course for families. Take a detour in the central area with a gentle slope along this course. It is also recommended to practice sliding.
※Be careful as there are U-turn curves and narrow spots on the way.
Entertainment
Beginner・Intermediate [920m]
Flat and long slope. It is one of the most popular course in the central area. The course is wide at the end, with little slope change which suitable for beginners and intermediates.
Gigi
Intermediate Course [1,000m]
A slope which allows you to enjoy a comfortable high-speed turn. This course is very popular with intermediate and advanced players. A wide slope toward the bottom and you can enjoy a smooth large turn.
Grenoble
Intermediate・Advance Course [750m]
A steep slope course that continues from the mountaintop where you can enjoy the highest altitude and high quality snow in GALA. You can enjoy the pleasure while sliding down and this is a famous spot for bumps during spring season. The starting point has a wonderful view and is popular as a photo spot.
Snow Enjoyment Park 
Easy climbing to the starting point with a hooded snow escalator! You can enjoy sledding comfortably even on snowy days, and it is safe for small children because it is surrounded by the net.
North Area
Active Area
In addition to 6 courses that can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced riders, the northern area where you can enjoy a wide range of riding styles such as snow parks and bumpy slopes on rough terrain.
This is the entry for the downhill course「Falcon」where you can enjoy a long run of 2.5km, and「Roman Holiday」which is connected to Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort.
Swan
Freestyle Course [1,050m]
Broadway detour course. The entrance is narrow, but the slope is gentle, so even beginners can access the north area. It is a real pleasure to enjoy the natural terrain on the side.
Super Swan
Advance Course [160m]
Off-piste (non-compacted snow) course where you can enjoy powder snow after heavy snow. GALA’s specialty course where you can enjoy natural bumps. GALA’s steepest slope angle of 33 °for expert only.
Broadway
Intermediate Course [700m]
A wide course for practicing high-speed turns. Broadway is recommended for those who want to slide comfortably at their own pace as it is a relatively vacant course compared to the central area.
Super Broadway
Intermediate Course [450m]
A wide and moderate slope. The powder run after heavy snowfall on this course. It is a relatively vacant and little-known course.

Joanna
Intermediate Course [250m]
The right side of the pair lift「Chariot」is a course use for school lessons. The left side is a short course, but it is the best course for basic practice. If you go to the other side of the lift on mountain peak, it’s the starting point for the downhill course 「FALCON」
Roman Holiday
Beginner Course [500m]
This course is recommended for beginners who want to slide at their own pace. It’s also the perfect slope for practicing jib tricks! The lower part joins to the snow park area where kickers and jib items for beginners are placed.
Snow Park
A snow park that can be enjoyed by beginners to intermediates and is easy for anyone to try. Jib items such as big and small kickers and BOX that are perfect for practice are installed.
South Area
Powder Area
The south area has four exciting courses such as the off-piste (rough terrain) course 「2.6 million dollars」 and 「Bronco」 and the 「Eliza」 where you can make a comfortable carving turn. You can enjoy high quality powder when it snows. Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort can be accessed from the ropeway 「Landau」 in this area.
2.6 Million Dollars
Advance Course [920m]
The most popular non-compacted snow hard course. This course is very popular with challenging skiers and snowboarders. Please enjoy the finest powder and the approaching bumps.
※ It may be closed depending on the snowfall situation.
Bronco
Advance Course [700m]
A non-compacted snow course that everyone from beginners to experts can enjoy. It joins the 「Eliza」course on the way and is separated into the upper and lower parts. You can enjoy the powder when it snows and the natural bumps on sunny days.
Eliza
Intermediate Course [1,000m]
A groomed S-shaped high-speed course. It is a course that you can enjoy as a free run. Since it is a relatively vacant course, you can comfortably make a carving turn.
Batman
Intermediate (Connected) Course [530m]
A course that connects the central area to the south area and from the south area to the central area. The view from this course is different from the central area and you can see a fantastic view.
Ropeway 「Landau」
Connected to Yuzawa Kogen
A ropeway that connects to the Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort.
※ A separate lift ticket is required for skiing at Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort.
Downhill course FALCON
2.5 km downhill course
A slippery downhill course with a gliding distance of 2.5km that goes down from the north area to the ski center Cowabunga at once.
The highlight of this course is the location where you can overlook the snowy mountains of Minami Uonuma from the Tanigawa mountain range. Please enjoy an exhilarating long cruising while gazing at the superb view.
About sliding down from downhill course FALCON
The downhill course has a maximum slope of 20 °and there are places where the course is very narrow.
